Syna began her career as a business journalist and news anchor, spending 9 years at CNBC-TV18 where she served as Features Editor & Anchor, leading cross-functional teams to create commercial content IPs and produce long-format television content, including the well-known Young Turks platform. In 2019, Syna transitioned to the venture capital ecosystem as President at Lets Venture, she was responsible for driving business development, managing key relationships, and leading strategic initiatives. She managed over $2 billion in UHNI and family office allocations, led P&L, and drove strategic investments across early- to growth-stage startups and AIFs.

Syna holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai, and a Graduate degree in Mass Media – Journalism from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. A consummate storyteller, relationship builder, and business leader, Syna brings a proven track record of launching and scaling high-impact initiatives, with deep ecosystem insight and execution excellence.

Syna is fluent in English and Hindi. Outside of work, in her personal time she enjoys gardening and reading about Indian handicrafts.
