Anant Natu
Anant joins us as Partner, Inclusive Climate Finance with the Business Consulting & Research team in Intellecap. He will be based out of our Delhi office.
Anant brings with him over 19 years of rich and diverse experience across Asia and Africa, focused on building inclusive, resilient, and sustainable financial ecosystems. A management graduate from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA), Anant also holds an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Telecommunications.
Anant began his professional journey with catalytic funding at ICICI Bank’s Social Initiatives Group and has since worked with organisations such as MicroSave Consulting (MSC) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in development consulting, as well as held operational leadership roles, including a four-year stint at Arohan Financial Services Limited. His work spans inclusive finance, climate finance, and public finance—supporting governments, DFIs, impact investors, and financial institutions in designing and scaling innovative solutions. At MSC, Anant led several multimillion-dollar reform initiatives, including a Gates Foundation-supported program on public finance, and played a pivotal role in building the firm’s Climate and Catalytic Finance capabilities. His expertise extends across sectors such as WASH, electric mobility, and climate-smart agriculture.
Before joining Intellecap, Anant served as Partner & Capability Lead for Government Advisory, Climate Change and Sustainability, and Catalytic Finance. In his new role at Intellecap, Anant will lead our Inclusive Climate Finance efforts, shaping capital pathways and institutional strategies that enable a just and equitable transition, centring on the resilience of the most vulnerable communities.
Anant is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. Outside of work, he enjoys trekking, long-distance running, all things cricket, and is currently exploring his interest in Hindustani vocal music.
