Malav joins us as a Principal with the Investment Banking team in Intellecap. He will be based out of our Mumbai office.

He is a postgraduate in Business Administration from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai with a specialization in Finance and a bachelor’s in computer engineering from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai.

Most recently, Malav was working with CredAvenue Securities as a Deputy Vice President with the Capital Markets team. Prior to that, he has also been associated with India Ratings (FITCH Group) and Yes Bank.

Malav is a structured finance professional with experience in origination, credit underwriting, and placement across sectors with a focus on financial services clients for both domestic & offshore transactions. He was also instrumental in originating & underwriting capital market transactions for sell-down to AIFs, Family Offices & UHNIs. His experience includes working with prestigious investors like responsAbility, BII, Lighthouse Canton, Incofin, Creations Capital, MicroVest, BP Ventures, True North, and various originators across financial services & corporates.

He speaks English, Gujarati, Marathi, and Hindi. During his free time, Malav enjoys playing badminton and cherishes moments spent with friends and family.
