Sankalp | Fundraising & Strategic Alliances

Founded in 2002, Intellecap Advisory Services Private Limited (Intellecap) is the entrepreneurial ecosystem building arm of the Aavishkaar Group, a pioneer in providing innovative business solutions that help build and scale impact enterprises dedicated to building a more equitable, sustainable and inclusive society.

Intellecap & Aavishkaar Group take an ecosystem approach that combines knowledge, capital, technology, and networks, to provide impact entrepreneurs with a continuum of support throughout their life cycle and to address systemic barriers.

We operate at two levels:

  • Direct enterprise support through capital, acceleration, fundraising, technical assistance, innovation transfer, and market linkages.
  • Ecosystem development by engaging value chain actors, investors, philanthropies, corporations, governments, and intermediaries.

We leverage our convening and amplification platform Sankalp to augment our effort to search, seed, support, and scale impact enterprises across sectors. We have worked with more than 300 clients on over 500 consulting and research engagements across multiple geographies. We are a group of 7000+ professionals in locations across India, Kenya, and Bangladesh.

WHAT WE DO

The selected candidate will join the Sankalp Forum team, one of the world’s largest platforms for inclusive development. Since its inception in 2009, Sankalp has convened stakeholders across 4 continents, spotlighted over 2,000 entrepreneurs, connected them to 300+ investors, and helped raise over USD 800 million in capital. Sankalp is globally recognized for shaping impact discourse in partnership with platforms like the World Economic Forum, G8/G20, and several governments and corporations.

We have strong partnerships with global institutions like World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Rockefeller Foundation, IKEA Foundation, and USAID and we are now looking for a Senior Associate/Manager Role – Fundraising & Strategic Alliances to lead our efforts in mobilizing financial and strategic support for Sankalp’s global programs. You will play a crucial role in building long-term partnerships with foundations, multilaterals, governments, and corporations who believe in the power of entrepreneurship to solve the world’s toughest challenges.

THE ROLE

Annually we organise multiple flagship summits – Global; Bharat & Africa Summit that bring together between 1200-1500 stakeholders from the Sankalp Community. In addition, we host Sankalp Dialogues and Regional Summits, which are smaller scale convenings typically structured around particular themes or stakeholders. We also host the CAIF Conclave, a Private Equity Conference “Rendezvous”, as well as other initiatives such as #WomenAtSankalp.

The Senior Associate/Manager plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between strategic development and hands-on execution within the Sankalp framework. As an analytical thinker, they are entrusted with innovating new engagement initiatives, enhancing the existing frameworks, and driving impactful interactions within the Sankalp community. Their expertise lies in assisting in business development, from drafting compelling proposals to building and nurturing essential relationships.

Their role extends to convening management, where they collaborate closely with the Sankalp team and ecosystem teams at Intellecap in organizing Sankalp’s events, maintaining databases, and nurturing strategic partnerships. Adaptable, problem-solving, and with a continuous learning mindset, the Senior Associate/Manager is a key asset in ensuring Sankalp’s success and influencing meaningful, positive change within the broader community.
