Vikas Bali
CEO
Vikas has close to 25 years of experience spread across management consulting and industry roles. At Intellecap he is focused on developing innovative business models for the majority markets, scale up enterprises and contribute towards solving the jobless growth environment across the developing world.
He has or is closely working with clients like Shell foundation, Hans foundation, WBG, Shakti foundation, FHI360. Most recently he is overseeing the digitization of women centric value chains in rural india by creating a coalition of rural women, processing industry, payment banks, MFIs etc.
Prior to his appointment as the CEO of Intellecap, Vikas was the global head of Consulting, leading a team of 40 + people working across India and Kenya. Prior to joining Intellecap, Vikas was working with Accenture Strategy as Managing Director – Head of the Products industry group. He has also worked with DEN Networks, Tata Sky and A.T. Kearney.
Vikas has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM – Calcutta with Strategy as major subject of his study. He has completed his Bachelor in Engineering from Vivekanand’s institute for Technology.

Gurjit Singh
Diplomat and Former Ambassador, Government of India
Mr. Gurjit Singh has served as an ambassador of India to Germany, Indonesia, ASEAN and Timor-Leste, Ethiopia, Republic of Djibouti. He has also represented India to the African Union, UNECA and IGAD and he has also served as a Deputy Permanent Representative of India to UNEP and UN-HABITAT. He has authored four books. He is a chairperson of CII TASK FORCE ON TRILATERAL PARTNERSHIPS IN AFRICA and also a Professor at IIT Indore.
Mr. Gurjit Singh obtained his bachelor’s degree in Politics at the St. Xaviers College, Kolkata. He is a Post Graduate in International Studies from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He started his career in Diplomacy with a posting in Japan and with subsequent posting at Sri Lanka, Kenya and Italy.

Jayesh Bhatia

NRMC India as a leading development support organisation working extensively in the rural and social development sector in India. He has worked extensively with UN organisations, JICA, DFID, the World Bank, State Government departments and Ministries of Government of India. He has also led and coordinated multi-cultural and multi-agency teams in delivering complex assignments for various donors in India, South-East and South Asia and Africa.
As a catalyst for social impact, Jayesh strongly believes in people’s participation in framing policies and has worked on promoting and communicating policy change by working closely with governments, international organizations, donors, NGOs and communities.

Pramod Kasat
Managing Director
Pramod Kasat is the Managing Director- Investment Banking at, Intellecap. He brings over 2 decades of extensive deal experience in India and has successfully spearheaded investment deals and exits worth more than US$1 billion with specialization in deal origination and structuring of transactions for Indian enterprises with deep insight pertaining to the private equity and structured finance regime in India. Prior to joining IndusInd Bank, he was associated with Pioneer Investcorp Limited as Head- Investment Banking in Mumbai. Pramod has also served as a Director at Credit Suisse and in Deutche Bank’s global markets team and also with Citibank.

Manoj Kumar Nambiar

Manoj Kumar Narayan Nambiar is the Managing Director of Arohan. He has been a Director since October 2012, when he was appointed as the Managing Director of Arohan with effect from October 3, 2012. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI and a Master’s degree in Management Studies from JBIMS, University of Bombay, and has tertiary qualifications in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India. He has also completed the ‘Strategic Leadership in Microfinance’ course from Harvard Business School, USA, “Strategy meets Leadership” course from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, “Leading for Impact” from IMD Lausanne, Switzerland, and “Enabling Strategic Impact in the Boardroom” at London Business School, London in February 2024. He has worked with various companies in the fields of business development, consumer banking & finance and microfinance across India and the Middle East.
His previous employers include Modi Xerox India Limited, Countrywide Consumer Financial Services Limited, ANZ Grindlays Bank, ABN Amro Bank N.V., National Bank of Oman, Alhamrani Company for Investment in Trade & Ahli Bank. He is the Vice Chairperson of the Group Executive Council at Aavishkaar, the holding company. He has served on the governing board of MFIN, the microfinance sector SRO recognised by the RBI for 7 years from 2013 including as its President from July 2015 to June 2016 and then as Chairman twice from July 2019 to June 2021. He is currently the Chairperson of the Governing Board of MFIN from July 2024, on the Board of Trustees AMFI WB and is also the Lead of the Steering Committee of the 37 MFI lenders in Assam liaising with the state government on the AMFIRS’21, the microfinance incentive & relief scheme 2021.

Santosh Singh
Managing Director
Santosh leads the energy and climate change practice at Intellecap. He supports clean energy entrepreneurs with knowledge, network, and capital solutions at Intellecap. He has more than 15 years of experience in Base of the Pyramid (BoP) market development with a focus on energy access, climate resilient agriculture and climate finance. Before joining Intellecap, Santosh was working with the World Bank (South Asia Region) where his work focused on developing affordable clean cooking/energy access solutions, and climate finance interventions for various sectors.
In past, he has worked as Technical Expert for GIZ and led Rural Market Insight program at the Institute for Financial Management and Research. He has also advised Tata Trusts, CLEAN, GIZ and several social enterprises on energy access, result based financing and last-mile distribution models. He has authored several publications on energy access and BoP mar¬kets and presented his work to practitioners and academic audiences. He is a Mathematics graduate and has a post-graduate degree from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

Matangi Gowrishankar
Independent Non Executive Director
Matangi Gowrishankar has more than 3 decades of professional experience across industries and organizations – both in India and Overseas having lived and worked in the UK & Singapore. Having started her career as a banker with Standard Chartered Bank, she has led the Human Resources function for organizations like Reebok India, GE Capital, Zensar Technologies, Cummins and BP.
Her most recent experience is with BP over the last 13 years where she has led HR across various geographies for countries like Southern Africa, Turkey, Middle East and across the countries in Asia Pacific. In the last four years, she has been the global head of capability development for the downstream businesses of BP and finally leading the global leadership academy in BP University. She continues her association with BP leading some strategic Leadership Development projects
Matangi is on the board of Arohan Financial Services P Ltd. as an Independent Non Executive Director in August 2016.
Matangi is a BA in Sociology with a post graduation in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from a prestigious educational institution – XLRI.

Over the years Ashim has worked extensively in Structured Finance & Debt Capital Market space, has advised various corporate clients across sectors & industries and been instrumental in managing transactions ranging from vanilla – term debt to complex structured NCD’s & Securitisations.

Gagandeep Bakshi

Gagandeep, brings in wealth of knowledge of sectors like Financial services, Healthcare, Agri, Clean Energy and Infrastructure through his work across Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. In his career spanning more than 15 years, he has advised businesses across their growth life cycle and closed deals across sectors. Karnika Yadav

Karnika Yadav is a Director at Intellecap’s Africa office, leading business consulting and research practice for Intellecap Africa. She has over 12 years of experience in international development and management consulting in Africa and other developing markets . At Intellecap, she is focused on developing innovative business models, scaling up enterprises, designing & implementing solutions for low-income population and contributing towards solving the problem of unemployment and under-employment across the developing world. Karnika has worked on multiple consulting assignments across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, education, financial inclusion, retail and livelihood.
Prior to joining Aavishkaar Intellecap Group, Karnika was working with a boutique consulting company in East Africa that focused on transforming medium and large businesses into trans-generational enterprises. Karnika’s experience is spread across continents, she has also worked with Ministry of Social Solidarity in East Timor as National Advisor; Expedia-France as Financial Analyst; IBM-India as Technology Architect and General Motors-India as Assistant Manager.

Anand Daga

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from ICFAI Hyderabad and a Mechanical Engineering Gold Medallist from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. He also holds a postgraduate diploma in Investment Banking.
He is a seasoned private equity and investment banking professional with 30 years of experience in structured funding, M&A, private equity and strategic advisory. He has worked across industries and brings significant domain knowledge and relationship across ecosystems. Prior to joining us, Anand was working as an Independent Consultant. Before this, he worked with Nine Rivers Capital as Director – Investment Banking.
He speaks English, Hindi and Marathi. He is a nature enthusiast and an environmentalist. In his free time he maintains landscape garden for his housing society.

Ankit Gupta

Most recently Ankit was associated with NewForesight, as a Sustainability Consultant based out of the Netherlands. As part of his assignments there, he had the opportunity to work with corporates and certification agencies such as The Body Shop and Rainforest Alliance and helped them with their sustainability strategies.
During his stint with Intellecap for 9+ years until 2022, Ankit was instrumental in his role and led several engagements such as UNIDO FLCTD support, ISA Blended Finance Facility, World Bank Lighthouse programs, among others.
Ankit holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

Ankur Kathuria

He earned his MBA in Corporate Finance from NUS Business School, Singapore, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.
Most recently, Ankur was working with BCG as a Project Leader, providing crucial insights into pivotal initiatives in India, such as paddy diversification and Agristack. Prior to this, he was associated with Ernst & Young, India and Singapore, and KPMG, U.A.E.

Additionally, Ankur’s impact extends to social advisory in agriculture and health. He has been instrumental in defining and implementing government priorities in India, contributing to impactful initiatives, including the establishment of impact investment funds in these crucial sectors. Ankur’s comprehensive expertise spans transport projects, PPP policy reforms, and capacity-building training.

Anurag Gupta

Anurag brings in over 22 years of experience in project formulation, planning, implementation and management of projects. Anurag has been engaged with different ministries under Government of India, various departments of State Governments, bi-lateral / multi-lateral agencies (UNDP, JICA, World Bank, WSP, Unicef, UNWFP, USAID etc.), INGOs, NGOs and Corporates. He has been involved in project design, business development, project implementation and management. The development sector continues to be his passion, and he has now been consulting on projects of development as Expert of MIS/GIS/Survey & Mapping and Monitoring & Evaluation in different sectors e.g. rural development, agriculture, forestry, livelihoods, child rights, health, nutrition, WASH etc. Presently, he is leading long term JICA assisted Project Management Consultancy (PMC) assignments and is the focal point for clients to ensure quality delivery of consulting services. Before Intellecap, Anurag has worked at NRMC and earlier as an independent consultant, to Agriculture Finance Corporation, South Asia Partnership-India, Deendayal Research Institute etc. and provided inputs on data management, analysis and generation of different thematic reports. Anurag has a Master’s degree with specialization in Management Information System and research Methodology.

Ashish Sinha

At Intellecap, Ashish helps to shape the thinking around solutions that can effectively meet the needs and address the healthcare challenges of the emerging 3 billion. He is actively involved in realizing Intellecap’s vision of leveraging advancements in medical technologies, advanced analytics and digital solutions and bring these right down to the grass-roots in order to tackle the healthcare challenges of the future. Ashish is an expert in innovative care delivery models and Market based Partnerships for health. He has deeply researched trends and the emergence of healthcare consumers and healthcare provider behaviors. An ardent advocate of using information to drive improvements in care, he believes that well-trained, efficient and empowered last mile health workers are the key to deliver sustained health impact. At Intellecap, he is also part of the Better Sanitation Collective and Future of Work initiatives.
Ashish has worked with a diverse set of clients including local, state and national governments, primary care providers, community health workers, hospitals, social-enterprises, start-up companies, think tanks and PPPs. He has designed, led and managed high impact interventions and assessments on Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, RMNCH+A, Nutrition/ICDS, WASH and Neglected Tropical Diseases. Her leadership experience includes work with Atlas Mara in Rwanda, where she contributed to the integration and modernization of two entities, demonstrating her commitment to transformative change.

Mukund Prasad

Mukund has 18 years of diverse experience across Consulting, M&A, Project and Financial Controlling. After his MBA from IIM, Calcutta, he worked in the banking & financial services practice of PwC Consulting for close to 5 years. After that he was part of the M&A team in Siemens India for 6 years and was a financial controller for about 2 years. At Intellecap, Mukund is one of the leaders of the Consulting and Research practice. His work at Intellecap has included helping a leading MFI with their strategic & business planning process, estimating the supply and demand of risk capital to the MSME sector in India, carrying out impact evaluation studies and to manage Intellecap’s incubation services platform.

Prachi Seth
Partner
Prachi has over 9 years of experience in management consulting, working with organizations like Accenture, KPMG, PwC and Dharma Life in the past. Her work spans across multiple sectors, and countries including India, Bangladesh, UAE, South Africa, Kenya and the UK.
At Intellecap, she manages projects focused on improving energy access in remote off-grid areas in India and Africa. These range from developing market entry strategy for established players, to providing technical and fundraising support to new energy entrepreneurs for commercialization of innovative technologies. She is also actively engaged in designing Smart Village Programs, leveraging digital and social innovation to accelerate rural development, in partnership with multilateral organizations and government agencies. In addition, her work encompasses financial needs assessment of women entrepreneurs in Asia and Africa, leading to recommendations of relevant financial instruments for different entrepreneurial segments. She has also previously designed alternative credit assessment frameworks to improve credit access for rural entrepreneurs.
She is based in Mumbai and manages relationships with multilateral organizations, social entrepreneurs, foundations, investors, corporates and global accelerators.
She has a B.A. (Honours) degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi University and MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Indian School of Business.

Shailesh Nagar

A graduate of Environmental Science and a Masters’ degree holder in Forestry Management from IIFM (1997), Shailesh started his professional journey with Foundation for Ecological Security, working closely with the village community in the remote area of Munsiari, Uttarakhand on strengthening the institution of Van Panchayats, facilitating community management of natural resources and related livelihoods. In 2000, Shailesh moved to Rajasthan to help the team of Udaipur in its nascent stages to gain ground and work in the domain of Joint Forest Management, conservation and rural livelihoods. Later, he joined the regional team of FES in Rajasthan and led on project designs, implementation support, research and networking with other NGOs, government and donor organizations.
With 10 years of deep implementation experience behind him, Shailesh pursued MPhil in Environment, Society and Development at University of Cambridge and published his thesis on Biofuel Policy in India. Soon after, he undertook research at the University on South-South Cooperation between India and Africa in the sphere of biofuels.
Upon return from Cambridge, Shailesh joined NR Management Consultants and formed part of the small team contributing to its growth story by playing different roles in business development, sectoral assessments, programme design, implementation support and, monitoring and evaluation covering a multitude of thematic areas including climate change, child rights, gender, public policy etc. He has core expertise in and currently leads on Natural Resource Management & related sustainable livelihoods, circularity in Agriculture and, programme and
policy evaluation domains in the organization.
Given the multidimensional nature of his work, Shailesh has worked closely with a range of clients from different sectors and geographies – bilateral/multilateral donors, UN Organizations, International NGOs, NGOs, State and Central Governments, Corporate Foundations and Academia. During the course of his work, he has authored and co-authored several reports and papers. Shailesh is an avid traveller and reader who gets excited with talks of new places and perspectives.

Siddharth Lulla

Siddharth is an impact industry professional with several years of business building and consulting experience. Somatish brings over 13 years of experience in management consulting, Base of the Pyramid (BOP) business models and research. He has worked on international consulting assignments on sustainable BOP business models across sectors including nutrition and healthcare, agriculture and renewable energy. He specializes in consumer research, business research, financial modelling and business plan and business model design. He has worked on research and consulting engagements in India, Indonesia and Africa with MNCs, multilateral institutions, INGOs and other stakeholders in the inclusive business ecosystem.
Earlier Somatish had worked in the equity research and KPO spaces for 7 years in Mumbai during which he was responsible for setting up an equity research team and managing fundamental research on global equities across major sectors. She has 15 plus years of experience working across business development, program management and research. She has worked in multiple sectors spanning across public health, nutrition, economic geography, and social & economic empowerment. She has managed projects for multi-laterals, governments, philanthropies, academic institutions and private sector entities across South Asia and East Africa. She built her foundations in research and data analytics, working on large datasets including Census of India, NSSO and NFHS. He brings extensive Industry experience, having led the country operations of a global carbon project developer and has also worked a decade in the implementation of large-scale clean energy and energy efficiency initiatives and in carbon financing.
Shahed brings a holistic approach to sustainable development and a commitment to addressing global circularity challenges. Be it working on circular economy for textile waste in Bangladesh, where we are empowering women garment workers by providing them with training on circular economy and green skills to facilitate their reintegration into the workforce or valorizing textile waste, creating sustainable business models or strengthening the entire value chain, he takes pride in the ecosystem building approach of Intellecap, accelerating industry adoption of cutting edge circular solutions.

Arpitha comes with over 12 years of professional experience. Job is a Principal with the Investment Banking team at Intellecap based out of Nairobi, Kenya.
Most recently, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Nairobi within Deals Advisory where he advised businesses that were looking to restructure their debt or raise institutional capital in the form of debt, equity, or other structures.
Previously, he worked with KCB Group as part of the pioneer investment banking team. He also worked with Genghis Capital as a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst and with JPMorgan as an Analyst in the EMEA region.
Job has completed his Bachelors’ Degree from Strathmore University and is a CFA Level 3 candidate. He is fluent in English and Kiswahili.

Niharika has 9 years of experience in management consulting, over half of which has been in the development consulting space. She has worked across South-Southeast Asia and East Africa on projects related to gender lens investing, women entrepreneurship and empowerment, impact investing and distributed renewable energy.
At Intellecap, her experience spans market research, landscape mapping, stakeholder engagement, monitoring & evaluation, impact assessment, enterprise sourcing and profiling. Niharika has engaged with women-owned and women-focused enterprises across Asia and Africa to understand their constraints for access to finance, as well as build frameworks to facilitate capital and business support. Pravanjan has over 17 years of experience in the development sector with his core expertise in project planning, management, monitoring & evaluation, capacity building and action research. Pravanjan has been working on developing solutions to catalyse land rights research, M&E and capacity building in land, livelihoods and forest space. To strengthen the sustainable land ecosystem, he has been vital to the setting up of the Center for Land Governance, a platform that aims to bring together all stakeholders in land governance.
His efforts are to bridge the existing gaps in the land governance space through utilization of knowledge, information, capacity and resources. He is also involved in organizing the India Land and Development Conference (ILDC), an annual international conference hosted by more than 40 partner institutions and organizations globally.
Pravanjan has worked with a diverse set of clients including governments, multilaterals and foundations such as IFAD, DFID, WFP, World Bank, JICA, GIZ, OXFAM, CRS etc. across India and South Asia. He has contributed to projects focusing on tribal development, monitoring, evaluation and implementation of natural resources based livelihood and food security projects primarily for the underprivileged communities.
He has worked with organizations like UNDP, SIDBI, State and Central Government departments. As part of these organizations, he has spearheaded several concept designs, program development and facilitated execution. Pravanjan holds a master’s degree in management from Utkal University and completed his law degree in Environmental Law.

Samya Mishra

Samya brings 11+ years of strategic financial advisory experience across consulting, deal structuring, infrastructure investment advisory, asset management and economic policymaking experience with global banks, DFIs, PE/VC/ Climate funds, regulators, and Govt. entities. She’s closed $160 Mn in equity deals and designed investments of $750 Mn across equity, debt, guarantees and grants for US, MENA, EU, and Asia clients.
Prior to joining Intellecap, Samya advised the Massachusetts State Government with setting up of the 50 Mn USD Momentum Equity Fund, housed within the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency (MHFA), for preferred equity investments in affordable housing and solar energy infrastructure along with private equity co-investors as LPs.

His wealth of experience is in programme and fund set up and management, business development, investee and donor management, capacity assessment and building, and risk management, having developed concepts and proposals, programme design, management various innovation calls and competition and the entire project management cycle, from competition and innovation calls, selection and onboarding of investees, investee management and project close outs. He also has held senior positions in various programmes from both a programmatic as well as financial perspective.

Dhrubak holds a master’s in business administration and a B. Tech in mechanical engineering. Before joining us, he was a Manager in EY GDS’s CcaSS team. Over the years, he has worked with cross-functional teams across diverse geographies, including India, Bangladesh, Japan, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Germany, the UK, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He is excited to contribute to Intellecap’s transformative impact on communities and drive meaningful change in the climate and sustainability space.

Jaya Jain
Manager
Jaya brings over five years of experience in impact consulting and investing, with a deep passion for climate finance, gender equity, and alternative economic thinking. Her work sits at the intersection of sustainability, inclusive development, and innovative financial solutions.
Currently at Intellecap, Jaya focuses on advisory and investing across impact finance, climate change, and gender equity. She has worked with a diverse set of clients including the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Agence Française de Développement (AFD), Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, International Solar Alliance (ISA), Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, SIDBI, and the World Bank Group.
Jaya has been instrumental in building the Rethinking Economics India Network, an initiative aimed at promoting pluralist, heterodox approaches to economics and making the discipline more inclusive and representative in India.
Earlier in her career, she contributed to international policy initiatives through her work with the OECD Working Party on Innovation and Technology Policy and the Emerging Markets Network at the OECD Development Centre.
She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Public Policy from Sciences Po and a triple major in Economics, Political Science, and Sociology from Christ University.
Jaya also led the student wing of a nonprofit for two years, spearheading community development projects focused on child rights, women’s empowerment, farmer livelihoods, and waste management.
A skilled writer and communicator, she has authored, co-authored, and provided editorial input for policy briefs, strategy reports, academic papers, and journalistic articles. She is bilingual in English, professionally proficient in French, a native Hindi speaker, and is currently learning Spanish.

Kunal Abrol
Manager
He holds an MBA in Finance from NMIMS, Mumbai and a Bachelor’s in Finance from S.S. College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. He has also studied and cleared CFA Level 3.
Kunal comes with 7 years of work experience across various domains including, investment banking, corporate M&A / fund raising, and venture capital. He started his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs, then later worked as a buy-side corporate M&A manager at InterGlobe Enterprises and OYO Hotels. Prior to joining us, he was working at an early-stage venture capital firm and most recently, working on his own D2C entrepreneurial venture. He has worked on several domestic and international M&A deals, across diverse sectors including, healthcare, consumer retail, travel, hospitality, and tech startups.
He speaks English, Hindi and a bit of Punjabi. In his free time, he loves playing basketball and reading books.

Margaret Nakunza

She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations. Prior to joining us, she was working with Social Impact Award- Kenya where she ran a social entrepreneurship pilot programme targeting the youth in Nairobi.
She speaks English and Kiswahili. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking and doing community work.

Poulomi Mazumdar

Poulomi has over 11 years of experience in the consulting space, specializing in the agriculture and clean energy sectors. At Intellecap, she focuses on designing innovative strategies and solutions that address critical challenges in sustainable agriculture and renewable energy in the Global South. She is passionate about empowering farmers, scaling climate-resilient solutions and sustainable agribusiness models, and promoting clean energy solutions that align with India’s broader development goals.
Her work intersects with key stakeholders, including multilateral institutions, government agencies, and private sector organizations, enabling impactful and scalable development interventions. Throughout her career, Poulomi has collaborated with prestigious clients such as The World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), GIZ, International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), the Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare (Government of India), the Department of Agriculture, Maharashtra, and the Small Farmers Agribusiness Consortium (SFAC). These engagements have allowed her to contribute to high-impact projects aimed at improving farmer livelihoods, promoting agribusiness innovation, and advancing sustainable development goals. Before joining Intellecap, she spent 8.5 years at NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS), where she developed deep expertise in conducting monitoring and evaluation studies, impact assessments, and baseline surveys across the agriculture and allied sectors.

Priya Garg
Manager
Priya Garg is a Manager with Intellecap’s Business Consulting and Research team. She has over 11 years of experience in leading and executing projects related to inclusive and sustainable development in Asia, Africa and Middle East. Priya has worked on multiple consulting assignments across sectors such as financial inclusion, social payments and refugees, healthcare, agriculture, climate change, digital and fintech. At Intellecap, Priya is involved in multiple consulting assignments such as undertaking multi-sectoral landscape studies, designing interventions to promote the adoption of digital channels, business planning etc.
Prior to joining Intellecap, Priya worked with MicroSave and Amarante Consulting on assignments focused on financial, economic, and social inclusion by partnering with digital ecosystems participants. She has also worked with Wipro technologies as a software engineer. Priya has a bachelor’s degree from Dr DY Patil University and a master’s degree in rural management from Institute of Rural Management, Anand. She speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi.

Puja Paramhansa

Puja has completed her master’s in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management, Anand, Gujarat.
Most recently, Puja was associated with the International Finance Corporation as a Technical and Program Management Consultant. She contributed to the execution of multiple advisory projects on Climate, Gender, Financial Inclusion, and livelihood promotion as part of the Financial Institution India Advisory team. She also assisted the Country lead in managing a portfolio valued at 6.5 Million USD through effective client and donor management. In the past, Puja has also worked with Coastal Salinity Prevention Cell (CSPC), Tata Trusts, Bihar Rural Livelihoods Promotion Society, and Lifestyle International Private Limited.
She aspires to create lasting solutions that enhance the quality of life for marginalized and vulnerable communities, while also fostering a sustainable future.

Rahul Chatterjee

He is a postgraduate in forest management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal with a specialization in environment management and a bachelor’s in computer sciences and engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology.
Rahul is an impact consulting professional with experience in strategy consulting, demand and supply assessments, data analytics, evidence-driven program management, monitoring & evaluation, and donor/client handling with hands-on experience in managing teams. He has worked in several sectors with various bilateral/multilateral donor agencies, private foundations, and governments (BMGF, Omidyar Network, World Bank, IFC, ADB, ADBI, AFI, SPTF, UNCDF, FSDU, Griffith Asia Institute, NITI Aayog, Govt. of India, Govt. of Bihar, and Govt. of Uttar Pradesh). Additionally, he has worked extensively with stakeholders across countries in South Asia and Eastern Africa.
Before joining us, Rahul was working with MicroSave Consulting (MSC), India in Data and Insights.

Ravi Gupta

Ravi is a dynamic professional with over 12 years of experience in the agriculture and sustainability sectors. His expertise spans nature-based solutions (NBS), climate finance, climate-smart agriculture, and net-zero planning.
He brings hands-on experience in developing NBS carbon projects, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, policy formulation, market research, project management, and business development. Currently, Ravi is leading the implementation of large-scale NBS initiatives aimed at driving sustainable impact on both environmental and community levels.
With a deep understanding of the intersection between agriculture, climate action, and sustainability, Ravi continues to support organizations in translating global climate goals into practical, measurable outcomes.

Samantha D’souza
Manager
Samantha has completed her double M.A. in Development Studies, Social Policy for Development from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, and the University of Mumbai. She holds her bachelor’s in English literature from the University of Mumbai.
Most recently, Samantha worked with IQVIA in Nairobi as a Public Health Specialist wherein she led, managed, and delivered projects end-to-end across Eastern and Southern African countries. Projects related to evaluation studies, assessment studies, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing.
Previously, she worked with Erasmus University Rotterdam (International Institute of Social Studies) Den Haag, Netherlands, and Ernst Young Consulting as a Core team member of the Social Sector team of the firm in Mumbai.
She has been involved in monitoring and evaluation, implementation of M&E activities, capacity building, developing M&E frameworks, conducting assessment studies, and writing donor reports for corporates, bi-lateral and multilateral organizations, governments, and enterprises on issues relating to public healthcare, education, sustainable agriculture, fisheries, women empowerment.
Samantha is fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi and Konkani. Her hobbies include reading, playing badminton, swimming, and traveling.

Sanjana Somani

She holds a dual degree in BBA/LLB from Gujarat National Law University, India and a Master in Laws degree from National University of Singapore with a specialisation in Corporate and Financial Services Law.
Sanjana comes with over 5 years of work experience in the carbon markets with a focus on carbon projects. She has worked on different aspects of carbon projects involving but not limited to identifying and structuring climate/carbon finance, project sourcing, project registration and carbon trading/ drafting of carbon procurement policies. She has also worked on undertaking due diligence and drafting agreements such as NDA, MOU, Partnership Agreements, Emission Reduction Purchase Agreement (ERPA) etc. at different stages of a carbon project. She has theoretical understanding of the renewable energy certificates markets as well. Prior to joining us, she was working with Climate Resources Exchange International as Director – Operations.

Shailendra Kumar
Manager
He has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, India.
Shailendra comes with over 15 years of experience in the agricultural and forestry space with hands-on expertise in developing and implementing Industrial Agroforestry models, including plantation and propagation. He has also played a pivotal role in advancing Climate Smart Agriculture practices and fostering Natural & Regenerative Agri-farming methods and helped farmers in adopting sustainable multi-tier agroforestry approach. In addition, he brings extensive on-ground experience and learning of working on several Agri and Non-Timber Forest Product (NTFP) based value chain analysis and linkages, successfully nurturing Agri-based micro-enterprises. He was associated with us as a Consultant before joining us as a full time employee.

Shivanshu Sharma
Manager
Shivanshu brings over nine years of extensive experience in designing and implementing multiple large-scale projects, with a focus on agriculture, women’s economic empowerment, and livelihoods in South Asia.
At Intellecap, he is focused on developing climate-resilient Agri-value chains by integrating technology, exploring innovative financial products, and promoting farmer organizations. These efforts are aimed at making the agricultural sector more attractive and viable for farmers in the global south. He has worked closely with clients such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The World Bank, UNESCAP among others.
Before joining Intellecap, Shivanshu was based in Washington DC, where he was part of the global team at The World Bank. In this role, he provided support to country teams and clients in planning new data-driven digital agriculture projects.
Shivanshu holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Cornell University, specializing in International Development with a focus on Agriculture and Food Policy. He also completed a post-graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

Sneha Amarnani

She is an MBA in Finance and comes with 7 years of professional work experience.
Prior to joining us, she was working with DAM Capital (erstwhile IDFC securities) as an Associate where she has worked on M&A and PE deals in the lending-tech sector and has been a part of various successful capital market transactions in the consumer and Pharma sector.
She has completed her level 1 certification in Spanish language and speaks English, Hindi and Sindhi. In her free time she enjoys travelling, reading and dancing.

Utsav Shah
Manager
He has completed his Master’s in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po, Paris and has a Bachelors’ degree in Economics (Hons) Symbiosis International University, Pune.
Utsav comes with over 5 years of professional experience, having worked in different settings including Public Administration, Multilaterals and Private Consulting. In particular, Utsav possesses expertise in cultivating government partnerships, program design and implementation, providing consulting / strategy / advisory services, quantitative research & analysis, multi-stakeholder management, grassroots organizing, and project management. During his engagements, Utsav has worked with stakeholders from multiple countries in Africa, Central & South Asia across diverse sectors. Prior to joining Intellecap, Utsav worked as an Assistant Manager in the Economic Advisory team at Grant Thornton LLP, and has previously worked with KPMG and Ernst & Young in their Economic Growth, Government Advisory and Transfer Pricing teams. He was also the Chief Minister’s Fellow to the Government of Haryana, deputed with District Administration, Ambala.
He speaks English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and is currently pursuing Spanish. He is a qualified French speaking, holding advanced proficiency (level C1). In his free time, he loves reading, trekking, traveling and cooking.

Vakshith Yerra

Vakshith Yerra is based in New Delhi and is a part of the climate and agri team, engaged in driving impactful projects and focused on scaling climate-smart solutions which empower marginalized communities.
A B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and an MBA from SIBM- Pune, Vakshith brings 8+ years of industry experience in empowering rural communities, driving decarbonisation initiatives, supporting farmers by leveraging technology to enhance agricultural practices and driving market penetration in rural India.
As a part of the climate advisory team, he takes pride in Intellecap’s ability to solve complex challenges whilst building the ecosystem. Through his work, such as developing a conceptual architecture for an integrated climate advisory and early warning system, he is leading large-scale projects that bring our climate action initiatives to the forefront.

Wambui Kuria
Manager
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Nairobi and is currently a Level 3 CFA candidate and has a certification in data science.
She comes with over 4 years of experience in Investments and Consulting. Across her roles as an Investment Analyst, she has supported early stage companies through capital raising (both debt and capital). She has also worked in transaction advisory consulting, where she was tasked with advising businesses in various sectors such as retail and logistics, financial services, infrastructure and healthcare in financial due diligence, strategy and valuation. She is curious about impact investing and passionate about learning new concepts every day. Prior to joining us, she was working with Sayani Investments as an Investments Analyst.
She speaks English and Kiswahili. In her free time she enjoys travelling and reading fiction and non-fiction books.
